Kershaw 1560 RM Whirlwind Folding Knife Limited Edition Ken Onion Design – NICE
Offered here is Kershaw’s excellent Whirlwind, one of their popular collaborations with custom knife builder Ken Onion. It has a 3 1/4 inch blade of Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel, ergonomically shaped glass-filled nylon handles, and Speed Safe assisted opening . This one is a limited Conservation Edition released back in 2000 in support of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, distinct with its green handles and black coated blade.
Please take a look at the pictures to get your own sense of its condition. This knife appears the Elk on the coated blade; it’s very sharp right . It opens and closes smoothly, Speed Safe gets it open super fast. The handle shape is great, fitting the hand well and with enough texture to make it easy to grip, dry or wet. A great all-around knife, and a rarely seen version.
