Body Hammers are drop forged from high carbon steel, heat treated, quenched and have tempered heads. They have a burnt lacquer finish and Wood handles. The hammer was one of the basic hand tools around which the body and fender repair trade was developed. The utility pick hammer has a blunt point for short reach. It is used for low spots in high-crown panels and other work with small clearance. Face, 1 9/16” round point, 5/32” radius. Length of pointed end, 2” head, 4” overall.
